Can I Use FMLA for Rehab?
If you’re considering using FMLA benefits to protect your job while you’re in rehab, it’s really important to start the process as soon as possible, even before you arrive for treatment. You’ll need to contact your employer to start the paperwork required for FMLA. To protect your privacy, you only need to say you’re seeking medical treatment.
Although we highly recommend scheduling your admission in advance to avoid extended wait times, The Recovery Village Kansas City accepts walk-in patients for our highest levels of substance abuse and mental health treatment between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Walking in does not guarantee admission to care.
The Recovery Village Kansas City values your privacy and strictly adheres to HIPAA guidelines, meaning all admission calls are confidential. In addition, only the people you designate will have access to information related to your treatment. No information will be disclosed to any party without your written, documented consent.
Whether you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, a mental health disorder or both, we can help. Give us a call today to take the first step.
